We have learned today with deep sorrow that as a result of an accident which took place during an emergency landing due to a technical fault of one of the three military helicopters, designated for a promotional countryside trip in the Gilgit-Baltistan region organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, to which Ambassadors and their family members were invited, according to initial reports, along with the two pilots of the helicopter, Domingo Lucenario Jr., Ambassador of the Philippines, Leif Larsen, Ambassador of Norway and the wives of the Ambassadors of Malaysia and Indonesia lost their lives.

We express our condolences and patience to their families and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.
