We condemn the arson attack perpetrated against a Greek Orthodox seminary in East Jerusalem and the writing of heinous expressions on its walls insulting the spiritual personality of Jesus Christ.

The fact that a Christian seminary in East Jerusalem was targeted immediately after the attack perpetrated against Al-Huda mosque in Al-Jaba village in the West Bank, proves the provocative nature of these violent acts against Islam and Christianity.

We call on Israeli authorities to take necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of such attacks and to bring to justice the perpetrators of the attacks.
