The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, H.E. Mr. Augustine Kpehe Ngafuan and his delegation will pay an official visit to Turkey on 12-16 May 2014 upon the invitation of H.E. Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.

This will be the first visit at the level of Minister of Foreign Affairs from Liberia to Turkey. Foreign Minister Davutoğlu and his counterpart are scheduled to meet and discuss bilateral and regional issues on 13 May 2014. Subsequently, the delegation will have various official contacts in Ankara and economic-oriented contacts in Istanbul on 14 May.

The visit, a concrete manifestation of Turkey's strengthening comprehensive relations and cooperation with the countries of the African continent in the context of our African Partnership Policy, will be the basis for greater momentum in Turkey’s relations with Liberia in the upcoming period.
