Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey will open a Center for Mongolian Studies. The center serves to teach Mongolian language to students majoring in the Mongolian studies, conduct researches on the history and culture of Mongolia, develop the Mongolian Studies in Turkey and train Mongolists.

Ambassador of Mongolia to Turkey B.Batkhishig received Director of the Hacettepe University Turkish Studies Institute Yunus Koç. Ambassador Batkhishig expressed gratitude for the founding of the first in Turkey Center for Mongolian Studies in the year of 45th anniversary of the Mongolia-Turkey diplomatic relations and pledged to render comprehensive support to the center in establishing contacts with research centers of Mongolian universities and International Association for Mongolian Studies.

This academic year, 19 Mongolian students are studying in Hacettepe University of Turkey.
